IJ Start Canon G3010 Setup Drivers– The Canon PIXMA G3010 is one of the rechargeable Ink box printers, which was launched recently by Canon as the successor to the existing PIXMA G series. These printers are mainly designed for those looking for high volume and low cost per page printing needs for small houses and office environments.

Build Quality and Design
The Canon PIXMA G3010 comes in classy black with a smooth matte finish at the top. The body gives a solid and Premium feel but captures small stains as time goes by. While the printer is not small in any way, it’s still light enough to carry anywhere without problems.

All control buttons, including the 1.2 inch LCD screen, are placed at the right corner, offering easy to operate while sitting on the other side. The buttons are well constructed and provide good tactile feedback. Moving further, there is a USB port on the left side for cable connection, accompanied by an electric inlet socket that is given to the right.
Now there is not much to say about the design as it has all the typical printers come with, including an extendable paper input and output tray. Interestingly, the paper input tray can be folded back on top of the printer itself, making it even easier to save when not in use.
Note that Canon has placed an ink tank right on the front that will help you easily monitor the ink level. In addition, ink bottles have spill-resistant tops, helping for a seamless, clean experience in the home as well as the office.

Setup
Setting up Canon PIXMA G3010 is pretty easy. Once you go through the user manual, you can install it manually in a few minutes – obviously, it’s not rocket science. Anyway, the company offers free installation and support, which can be availed by contacting Customer Care.

If in case you decide to do it on yourself as we do, start with the removal of colored orange ribbons from the sides and edges. After that, open the lid of the printer and remove the orange protective cover from the cartridge area. Next, you need to open the seal and install the cartridge on the print head according to the user manual.
After carefully following the installation instructions, connect and turn on for some time. Now, turn it off again, open the hood and fill in the ink tanks one by one with a black ink bottle and a CMK given. Now, turn it on again, and it will take about 5 – 10 minutes to fill in the cartridge with color. Once you’re done, you can put the paper in, and be ready to start printing.

Connectivity
You can take the mold by connecting the printer either to the PC or to your smartphone. To attach the printer to your computer, you can use the USB port and the cable provided after installing the driver from the included CD.
For wireless connections via smartphones, you need to download Canon PRINT inkjet/SELPHY (available on both Android & iOS). After that, you can print photos, documents, or scan items directly from your phone using NFC or connect them over a WiFi network.
You can also connect a printer to your WiFi LAN so that all your local devices, including mobile phones and computers, can access it wirelessly and print without needing to switch cables or create a wired network. So if you have an office with multiple devices, it’s easy enough to connect them wirelessly through your WiFi router.

Performance
Especially, the quality of photos printed over the phone partly depends on what settings you choose to temporarily provide print jobs. Setting the paper quality to “High-resolution paper ” usually produces the best results for us compared to the default options.

Overall, the quality of the output is excellent, especially on printed shiny sheets. In fact, the printing speed was quite good, and we easily managed to take around 4 – 5 color prints in a minute. While many other printers tend to provide wet results, there is no problem with G3010. No bleeding of color, color does not fade, and the ink does stain even after accidental rubbing.
