Canon MX459 Printer Driver Download– The Canon PIXMA MX452 is a Wireless Office All-In-One printer, MX452 one of the multifunctional printers in the price range that is designed more for office use, not home, needs. The focus appears in the office-centric feature ranging from fax capabilities to the automatic document feeder (ADF). That doesn’t mean you can’t get it strictly for home use, but that means the best fit is in a dual role home and home-office printer or just as a personal printer at any office size.

Like Brother MFC-J430w, Editor’s choice in this category and Head-to-Head competitors, MX452 scored from, scanned, and faxing from a PC, and also functioned as a standalone copier and fax. As with most MFPs intended for office use, the ADF complements the letter-size flatbed, with the ADF handling MultiPage documents and legal-size pages. The ADF is also one-up MFC-J430w slightly, with higher input capacity, at 30 pages. Another nice touch is the ability to scan (but not print from) the USB memory key.

The Pixma MX452 does not have an Ethernet connector but offers Wi-Fi, so you can share printers on the network. Your Printer and phone or tablet must be connected via a Wi-Fi access point on your network.

Setting up MX452 is the standard RATE. For my tests, I connected to a Windows Vista system using a USB cable. Speed, unfortunately, turns out a bit slow.

The good news is that the MX452 score is much better at the quality of output than speed. The quality of text in my tests is better than most MFPs inkjet can manage, which makes it good enough for most business purposes.

The Graphics output is par for the MFP inkjet, making it quite good for any internal business needs up to and including PowerPoint handouts and such. Depending on how critical the eye you have, you can consider good enough graphics for the output to go to an important client or customer. Photos qualify as a par quality too, but only barely. That translates to the correct quality of photos, but around the match to the worst, you’d expect from a drugstore mold.

In many ways, the Canon PIXMA MX452 Wireless Office All-In-One printer is a personal MFP that can walk-to-Toe with Brother MFC-J430w. One drawback is its speed, which makes Brother printers a better choice for most offices. On the other hand, Canon printers offer slightly better graphical output and at least one important convenience that the MFC-J430w lacks, that is, the ability to scan to a USB memory key. If it’s more important to you than speed, MX452 might be better suited. This is certainly a sensible choice in any case.
